The Story
Raised by a single mother in Auckland, New Zealand, Dre began his entrepreneurial journey at the young age of 11, pulling apart computers and finding items to resell online. This experience shaped his life approach, grounding him in a straightforward, no-nonsense work ethic built on hard work and resilience.
Achievements
At 19, while pursuing a double major in International Business and Marketing at the University of Auckland, Dre earned the prestigious EO New Zealand Student Entrepreneur of the Year Award.
Recognized by TV3 as a “future Kiwi youth success to watch,” he was spotlighted for his business – one of New Zealand’s pioneering Shopify stores, launched in 2013.
These early milestones laid the foundation for a career driven by business innovation and entrepreneurship.
